I just got finished putting up a new medicine cabinet in my bathroom and it looks alot better than I thought it would. The old one was made of wood and looked cheap... The new one is all mirrors and has lights on the top. The old one can be tossed in the middle of the road for all I care but Bernie's gonna take it home and tinker with it and most likely make something out of it like he has done to all the crap I have given him when I first started remodeling this place. I have put alot of man hours into this place and it shows BIG TIME. My fort is starting to look really nice. It's going to be a while before it becomes "Mindy's" but I know I can make it happen. Bernie has been a GIGANTIC help and I can not thank God enough for him. I don't know exactly how much we have done to this place but I'm going to make an attempt just for funzies to list it all....
Moved the pantry from the livingroom to the kitchen
Removed a shelve out of Diamonds room & took down the closet doors
Removed the ceiling fan and kitchen ceiling light
Put in a new kitchen light and fixture
Took out shelves out of the kitchen
Removed shelves out of the laundry area and put a pantry in it
Repaired the main bathroom tub, sink and replaced the toilet
Repaired my bathroom tub and replaced faucet
Replaced livingroom outlet and part of the wall
Removed two wall lights in my room and patched them
Patched three holes in my bedroom
Replaced part of a wall in Diamonds room and Rays room
Replaced part of the wall in the livingroom
Removed and replaced living room carpet & padding
Removed wall paneling and trim boards
Removed ceiling trim
Removed my bedroom carpet
Removed hallway carpet
Removed Diamonds room carpet
Removed and replaced my bathroom medicine cabinet
Painted the ceilings in all rooms except my bathroom and the main bathroom
Painted living room, kitchen, my room, Rays room, Diamonds room, Hallway and laundry area
Repaired a hole in the floor by my bedroom door
Added a closet to my bedroom
And that's about it so far... I need to do alot more but I can do that as I go. My next thing will be my bedroom carpet then new linoleum in the main bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and my bathroom. Come this spring or summer I would like to paint the outside of this place to make it look a bit better. I just don't know what colors yet.
We are a couple of tired messes. Tomorrow is a new day so lets see what we can find to do then... I'm pooped!
